Education is a shared journey, and we are incredibly grateful to our parents for partnering with us to support our students' academic and personal growth this year.
To help your teenager retain what they’ve learned and avoid the autumn transition slump, we ask for your help in encouraging summer learning. Here is what you need to know to help them stay on track:
Where to Find Assignments: All required summer packets, AP/Honors assignments, and grade-level reading lists can be found on the TGHS Summer Assignments page [link].
Encourage Time Management: High school assignments often require sustained effort. Encourage your student to break the work into manageable weekly goals rather than leaving it until the final week of August.
Balance is Key: Along with completing assignments, summer is a great time for students to explore personal interests, volunteer, or look into future career paths.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to your child's education. Have a fantastic summer break!
