Toll Gate High School

Congrats to Toll Gate High School’s Academic Decathlon team, which won 11 medals at Sunday’s competition at Bryant University, including: 

Jaylene Le, gold in Literature and silver in Art; 

Ja’Qwan Burrill, gold in Social Science and bronze in Science; 

Sam Girard, silver in Science; 

Alyssa Myers, gold in Speech and bronze in Math;

Brielle Renshaw, bronze in Math; 

Estherangelica Santana, bronze in Essay; 

Chris Herrera, bronze in Essay; 

Danica Weedon, silver in Speech. 

In addition, Toll Gate finished 2nd overall in the Super Quiz. And, because of his gold medal, senior Ja’Qwan Burrill receives a $500 scholarship at a ceremony later in the year at the State House.
