Textbook Loan Program for Non-Public Schools
Residents of Warwick, whose children attend non-public schools, may request the loan of Math, Science, Foreign Language, English/Language Arts, and History/Social Studies textbooks (Grades K–12) that are found on the RIDE State Approved Textbook List.
Warwick Public Schools accepts textbook orders for non public students each year within the dates and times posted to ensure that students have their textbooks for the start of the school year. Orders submitted past the deadline may not receive books in time for the start of school.
All book requests must include the title, publisher, copyright date, author and ISBN number for each book and must uploaded through the Google Form link provided below. We will accept electronic requests solely.
All textbooks currently borrowed from the Warwick School District, with the Warwick barcode in tact, must be returned before any new request for textbooks will be honored. Lost or damaged textbooks must be paid for, in full, before any new textbook request will be accepted. A current photo ID indicating the Warwick address must be shown before any books will be loaned to a student.
Families can order RIDE approved textbooks through Warwick Public Schools by clicking the link below. Use one form per student. Orders are to be placed before Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Phone orders will not be accepted. Warwick Public Schools will not reimburse for books purchased privately. Late orders are discouraged as we cannot guarantee books in time for the start of the school year.
Families will be notified by email when textbook orders are ready for pick up. Textbooks can be picked up at the Warwick Public Schools Administration Building located at 69 Draper Avenue, Warwick, RI, Room 213 between the hours of 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM.
Textbooks can be returned at anytime starting the week of June 21, 2021. The textbook loan program office is located on the second floor of Warwick Public Schools Administration Building. You will see tables at the top of the stairs/elevator. The tables are marked by alphabetically by student’s last name. Please leave textbook(s) on the appropriate table.
