The RI Department of Education will be sending guidance & guidelines for the Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremonies. The Governor has partnered with RI PBS for a statewide celebration broadcast in June for this year’s graduates. As we receive more information we will get those details out to you.
The Governor has given the Class of 2020 an assignment; if you have not already done so, please complete the FAFSA form (financial aid for college) by June 30, 2020.
With regard to the school calendar moving forward, there will be three non-instructional/professional development days in May and June, Wednesday, May 6th, Wednesday, May 20th and Monday, June 1st. Friday, May 15th is a vacation day and Monday, May 25th is a holiday.
We are currently working with RIDE to pinpoint our last day of school. We will be sending out procedures for retrieving items left in lockers and classrooms at a later date.
Thank you and please be safe.
