Dear Parents / Guardians:

We hope this message finds you and your family well. We know that we are in very uncertain times and want to thank you for your flexibility and your commitment to student learning. As of today, Governor Raimondo has charged school districts to conduct distance learning beginning March 23rd through April 3rd. We are actively working on a Distance Learning Plan for Warwick students. We will be sharing more details throughout the week. For elementary parents, it will be very important that you check your email regularly for communication from the schools. Secondary students should be checking their email regularly as distance classes will resume on Monday, March 23rd.

We recognize that this is a challenging time for all. Tips for talking to children about the Coronavirus are located at the following website: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/talking-with-children.html

Additionally, we recognize that some high priority items, like medications, Chromebooks, and instruments may have been left at the school. We will be sharing details about the return of these materials. Breakfast/Lunch Grab & Go bags will continue to be distributed Monday through Friday, 11:30-1:00 at Oakland Beach Elementary, Toll Gate High and Pilgrim High Schools. We thank you for your patience and continued cooperation. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to your school principal or contact administration at 401-734-3100.
