Warwick Public Schools announces that it will be offering a week long orientation program for incoming 6th and 7th grade students entering Veterans and Winman pending grant approval. The program will be held at Winman and at Veterans August 20-24, 2018. The program will run from 8am – 11:30 am with transportation and breakfast provided. Students will be picked up and dropped off from their current elementary school. You may opt to drop off and pick up your child directly at Veterans or Winman.
- Familiarize themselves with the workings of a middle school
- Experience following a daily schedule of classes with multiple teachers
- Get academic support in literacy and numeracy
- Foster positive relationships with other incoming students

Space is limited so please register now to secure your child’s place in the program. Student selection is first-come, first-served. We will be taking 100 incoming 6th graders and 100 incoming 7th graders for each middle school. You will be contacted through email on the status of your application in July.
