HEALTHY KIDS DAY Saturday, April 12 |
Celebrate the beginning of National Week of the Young Child
by attending the YMCA's Healthy Kids Day. It is a free event for all families which includes arts and crafts, sports
and games, and healthy refreshments. There will also be a community resource fair. We will have a table there,
so stop by to say hi! Location: Kent County YMCA, 900 Centerville Rd, Warwick No registration required. |
HERE WE GROW
Our program for 3-5 year olds titled Here We Grow continues this month.
Parents and children who enroll will attend on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9:30-10:30 AM. Our
curriculum is based on the RI Preschool Early Learning Standards.
This month we will meet on April 8 and 22.
Children aged 3-5 years old are welcome to participate. Unfortunately, younger siblings cannot participate as the
activities are based on the skill level of children over 3, and may not be safe for younger children (small pieces,
scissors, etc.). Children must be registered
to participate. There are no spaces available.

SHARING TREE
Our sharing tree is up and ready for families to use, This bulletin board tree has a supply of paper leaves. If you have something you no longer need (like a stroller, high chair, books, etc.), write a description on a leaf with your contact information and attach to the tree. If you need something, check the tree to see if it is there. Often children outgrow items and families ask us who might need them, and we may not know. Now you can post your notice for others to see.
If our program needs something for a special event, like napkins or small paper cups, we will post that too, in case you would like to help.
