PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT The Warwick Public Schools recognizes the importance of parents/guardians and their important role as educators. At a minimum, the school department involves the parents/guardians in the following manner:
1. Notifies each parent of the parent involvement policy on an annual basis. 3. Notifies each student's parents/guardians when a student is recommended for any supplementary programs including Personal Literacy Plans. 4. Reports student progress to parents: c. reports are issued at least quarterly to secondary students who are deficient in their studies; and d. progress reports may be requested by parents/guardians at any time.
5. Solicits parental information through a needs assessment as identified on the Parent/School/Student Compact.
