Dear Parents and Families: 

Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone had a restful vacation.  Based on your children’s report cards, this has been a wonderful first quarter.  Thanks to the efforts of our highly competent faculty and your commitment to education, everyone should be proud of our students’ achievement.

As the year progresses, our students continue to participate in the Feinstein ‘Good Deeds’ program.  Soon you will receive a copy of our award winning newsletter that will highlight some of the many deeds our students perform to assist those less fortunate then themselves.  Other activities have been planned for the rest of the school year.  I will continue to keep everyone informed through the school calendar located on the Potowomut webpage. 

Students, staff members, and parents will be asked to complete the SALT survey during the week of January 22-25, 2008.  The goal of this survey is to provide our school with reliable and systematic information to help us in planning and monitoring school improvement efforts.  Therefore, I encourage student and parent participation to ensure success of the SALT survey.  More information will be forthcoming in January, 2008.
