*** SCHOOL VACATION NOTICE: ALL WPS SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED FOR APRIL VACATION FROM THE 15TH THROUGH THE 19TH! This includes the Central Registration office, which will have only a temporary staff member taking messages and handling simple registration-related inquiries!
*** There will be No Registration tele-appointments or walk-ins accepted during the school vacation week of April 15th through the 19th! We appreciate your patience and understanding during this recess.
The Elementary school offices are Closed during the recess. Middle and High Schools may have limited staffing for limited hours during the recess. All other WPS Administrative offices are open.

Our district consists of the Warwick Early Childhood Center at John Brown Francis, thirteen Elementary Schools, two Middle Schools, two High Schools, and the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center. In most cases the school a child will attend is decided by the child’s home address.
2023-2024 Current School Year Registrations are open through June. June 20, 2024 is the last day of school in Warwick.
*** 2024-2025 KINDERGARTEN ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
If you are registering your new student for Kindergarten, they must have turned 5 years old on or before September 1st 2024. (Born on or before Sept 1, 2019.) 2024-25 Online Registration for students of all grades is also open as of Tuesday January 16th, 2024.
You can begin the online pre-registration process on a computer by clicking here and selecting Request an account (switch to “desktop view” if on a phone or tablet, but we strongly recommend using a Chromebook or desktop computer to use the Online Registration process!) *Only Request a new account if you do not already have an Aspen Family Portal LoginID! Your existing account can be used if you already have children in the district!
At the end of the online registration, you will select a tele-appointment slot. Central Registration staff will call you at the selected time and go over the registration information. In most cases, families do not need to show up in person!
*Current Warwick PK students already attending WELC or Oakland Beach: You can submit updated proof of residency and required K immunization forms to Central Registration, without going through the entire Online Registration process that you've already done for PK! See the Required Documents section to the right of this screen.

*** Preschool @WELC Community Partner Lottery for 2024-2025 is now OPEN! ***
Warwick Early Learning Center (WELC) Lottery is now open. The Lottery Form will close on April 19, 2024.
Once the Lottery is closed, WELC staff will create a digital draw to identify students for enrollment eligibility. Families will be contacted the week of 4/22/24 to begin the registration process with Warwick Public Schools. We will do our best to honor family preferences regarding enrollment, however, full-time spaces are limited. Central Registration services are available between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and some days during school vacations and around major holidays. Note that weather delays and school cancellations will also alter these times!
