• Rhodes students coming on May 5^th (9:15-11:30) 41 students.  Serving refreshments and giving Holliman Water Bottles as welcome gifts. Motion Donna Minett, 2^nd Ann Morris
• 5/15 PTSO meeting.  Parents from Rhodes will be invited to attend meeting.  PTSO will have out sign up Committee Sheets for the 2008/9 school year.
• English, Language and Art night – DATE TBD
• May 20^th time TBD review of NEW Report for 2008/9 school year.

6^th Grade Report      

• 4/30 Blood Drive- Mrs G looking for volunteers
• 5/2 Popcorn Sale
• 5/13 Presentation for 6^th grade parents at Aldrich
• 5/20 Family cookout
• 5/28 Save The Bay field trip. Needs funding from PTSO.  Voted- Ann Morris motion, Donna Minett 2^nd, $595.00. (Will be included in a budget next year)
• 6/4 Holliman/Norwood Chorus
• 6/10 6^th Grade Dance

Committee Reports

• Cookie Fundraiser packets are out and will be ending May 5th.
• Box Tops-Heather G. update at next meeting.
• School Store-Re-open and doing well.  Will be selling scented pencils which benefit the Playground.
• Programs- May 31^st Bazaar at Pilgrim from 10-2pm.  Tables will be $25 to rent.  Flyers going out week of 4/28.
• Vows- Hat Day $1.00 donation, Friday 25^th.

• Playground- Deciding on a date for an event at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet to raise $ for the playground.
• Cultural Arts- May 5^th, 1hr outdoor program at 1:30. Rain date May 12^th
• Feinstein- Popcorn 5/2, will be free for kids. Money donated to food bank - Mr. Feinstein matches amount.  We will be donating $100 to the food bank in Mr. Feinstein’s name in honor of his son.  Julie Dunn motion, all 2^nd.
• Re-think Ink- Julie sent 175 cartridges to Staples.

• Looking into getting Holliman Clothing from Elmwood Sports
• 6^th Grade Graduation is Thursday before the last day.
• Need a 6^th grade Parent Committee
• Basketball game at 6:30 on the 25^th.  Need help at concession stand.
