BEE NEWS:
The Gorton
Geographic Bee was held on Jan. 8, 2008 - 2 Winners from
each team participated in auditorium. The Gorton Geography
Bee winner was Jacob McLinden, Grade 8, Mr. Pierce
(teacher). He will attend the RI State Bee at RI College on
April 4, 2008. |

 TECHNOLOGY
INSTRUCTION
Gorton's
teachers have received instruction in using the new SMARTBOARD
technology. This past spring many of Gorton's teachers received
instruction on how to incorporate the SMARTBOARD into the curriculum
