    • PTA: The John Brown Francis PTA is dedicated to providing our school with many cultural, educational and physical activities and opportunities. Meetings are held the first Monday of every month.

    • School Improvement Team: This team is made up of Principal, teachers and parents to develop and work on plans that improve the academic and social climate o f the school.

    • Open House: Held in early fall, come and meet the faculty

    • Parent/Teacher Conferences: Meet with your child’s teacher by appointment.

    • Kids Day: The annual Kindergarten orientation.

    • Monthly Calendar/News Letter: Sent home the first of every month.

    • V.O.W.S.: Volunteers of Warwick Schools

    • ALAP: Accelerated Learning Activities Program.

    • Chorus: Made up of students from grades five and six.

    • D.A.R.E.: Drug Abuse Resistance Education is conducted in school by the Warwick Police Department.

    • Instrumental Music Program: Students in grades 4,5, and 6 may learn to play a variety of instruments

    • Mentor Program: Professional from the community trained by the Warwick Chamber of Commerce to mentor an individual child on a weekly basis. We currently have mentors from Citizens Bank.

    • Beacon Reporters: Designated students who write articles for the Warwick Beacon.

    • Feinstein Program: Francis is a Feinstein award winning School, teaching the students personal and community responsibility.

    • Drama Club: Held every Wednesday after school in the months of November through May for the students in grades 5 & 6.

    • School Newspaper: Produced by the PTA throughout the year. Includes announcements, new programs, and articles of interest for children, parents, and teachers.
