1. The School Committee will increase teacher salary, advanced degree increments and all Appendix B positions (coaching, yearbook, etc.) as follows:

a. 2003-2004 --> 2.0%
b. 2004-2005 -->
3.6%

  • 2004-2005: 3 staff development days

  • 2005-2006: 4 staff development days

Teachers will be compensated at $20.00 per hour to attend the mandatory staff development.

      3. Items for which the parties had already reached agreement will be included in the new contract.

      4. All other outstanding School Committee and WTU proposals will be withdrawn, including the School Committee's proposal for co-pay on health insurance.

    · Alternatively, the School Committee's offer to submit to binding arbitration on all issues as outlined in its September 2, 2003 proposal remains on the table.
