  • Supervise, coordinate, and manage the 9 employee Accounting Department which includes all cash management, payroll, local budget, federal/state/private grant funds, bond funds, Medicaid reimbursements, school lunch program

  • Prepare reports which summarize and forecast the Districts business activity an financial activity in the areas of revenue and expenditures based on budgetary and GAAP basis

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

  • Maintain cash control for the entire district

  • Maintain capital asset status and the determination of depreciation rates

  • Ensure that the fiscal systems are controlled and mainted , and recommend appropriate changes

  • Prepare Workers Compensation audit data

  • Arrange and coordinate the district annual financial audit

  • Prepare required annual financial report including those for Federal, City, State and R.I. Department of Education
