Supervise, coordinate, and manage the 9 employee Accounting Department which
includes all cash management, payroll, local budget, federal/state/private grant
funds, bond funds, Medicaid reimbursements, school lunch program

Prepare reports which summarize and forecast the
Districts business activity an financial activity in the areas of revenue and
expenditures based on budgetary and GAAP basis

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

Maintain cash control for the entire district
-
Maintain capital asset status and the determination
of depreciation rates
-
Ensure that the fiscal systems are controlled and
mainted , and recommend appropriate changes

Prepare Workers Compensation audit data

Arrange and coordinate the district annual financial
audit

Prepare required annual financial report including
those for Federal, City, State and R.I. Department of Education
