Welcome to the Accounting Department and Business Office.
The
Accounting Department consists of 7 employees who perform all the
accounting, grant administration, Medicaid reimbursement and food
service functions of the school department along with many other
responsibilities.
The Payroll Department consists of 3 employees who perform all payroll
functions for the Classified, Professional, Middle Management and Administrative employees.
The Business Office currently consists of 10 employees who perform all
the budget, union negotiations, accounts payable, purchasing, bids,
switchboard and building rentals functions of the school department
along with other responsibilities.

a summary of how your tax dollars have been spent by the School Department over
the last three years? Click here on Budget or on

a report that shows the prior three fiscal years of actual expenditures and the current fiscal year
school budget.

In$ite Reporting
In$ite
Reporting is the new reporting model that will be used by the R.I. Department of Education (RIDE), allowing RIDE to now compare "apples to
apples" between each
district's expenditures. The software also requires each district to break their
expenditures
down to the school level. The In$ite software is also being used by more than
half
of the states in the United States. This allows RIDE to compare our expenditures to that
