  • ALAP Accelerated Learning Activities Program for qualifying students in grades 3-6.

  • Beacon Reporters Designated students who write School related happenings for the Warwick Beacon

  • Chess Club An after school program for students in grades 5 & 6

  • Chorus 6th grade activity in which students perform for both the school and the community

  • Homework Club An after school activity for academically at-risk students.

  • Instrumental Music Program Instruction as well as participation in band and orchestra for students in grades 4, 5, and 6.

  • Open House An annual fall event in which parents visit their child's teacher and the classroom.

  • PTO - A parent teacher organization that enriches school life for our students and coordinates many family activities

  • Safety Patrol Program sponsored by AAA in which selected students are trained to help fellow students cross streets and ride the bus in a safe manner

  • School Improvement Team - A committee comprised of Hoxsie parents, staff members, and community members who work together to set the course for school improvement.

  • S.T.E.P. Systemic Training in Effective Parenting. A seven-week program for Hoxsie parents.

  • Technology Club An after school program for students in grades 5 & 6

  • Title I Program A federally funded remedial reading program for qualifying students in grades K-3

  • VOWS (Volunteers of Warwick Schools) A districtwide program that coordinates and trains the volunteers in each school

  • Writers Round Table An after school writing club for intermediate students.

  • Hoxsie Book Club An after school book discussion club.

  • Math Club An after school club for students interested in improving their math skills

  • Puzzle Club An after school problem-solving club for kindergarten and grade one students
